Overview

  1. Concept Development: Collaborate to capture the story’s tone, characters, and settings.
  2. Character and Setting Design: Create detailed and visually appealing designs.
  3. Storyboarding: Develop a storyboard to guide the narrative flow.
  4. Illustrations: Produce high-quality illustrations to bring the story to life.
  5. Page Design: Format illustrated pages for book publishing.
  1. A non-refundable downpayment initiates work for each milestone.
  2. Payments are preferred through BDO, but other options include PayPal, Ko-Fi, and Wise.
  3. Pricing adjustments are communicated upfront if project complexity increases.
  4. Flexible payment plans are available to suit client budgets.
  1. Portfolio Rights: The Client acknowledges and agrees that the Artist shall have the right to use and display the Artwork in their portfolio, both in print and digital form, for the purpose of self-promotion and showcasing their artistic skills.
  2. Non-Exclusive License: This Agreement grants the Artist a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Artwork in their portfolio. The Client retains all other rights to the Artwork not expressly granted herein.
  3. No Modification: The Artist agrees not to modify or alter the artwork in any way when using it in their portfolio, without the prior written consent of the Client.
  4. Indemnification: The Artist agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Client from any claims or liabilities arising out of the Artist’s use of the Artwork in their portfolio.

The Freelancer agrees not to disclose any confidential information obtained from the Client during the course of this Contract, including but not limited to trade secrets, client lists, or other proprietary information, without the express written consent of the Client.

Either Party may terminate this Contract at any time by giving [5] days written notice to the other Party. In the event of termination, the Artist shall be entitled to receive payment for work completed up to the date of termination, and the Client shall be entitled to receive any work completed up to that point.

This Contract shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Artist’s Country/Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous communications, representations, or agreements, whether oral or written.
